Santa Parade

While the girls were shopping this year I took Breanna, Jaedyn and Adelyn to the Santa Claus Parade in Downtown Peoria, we had a fun time.  It was cold but the floats were pretty cool!  HAHA!!

After the Parade we met up with the crew and had lunch, Adelyn really liked her Chocolate Chip Cookie!

Sand Sculpter's

The Last Day we were in Ft. Myers we went down to the Beach and watched Sand Sculptors working on a competition.  They came from all over the world, Kenya, Japan, Canada.  You could get your picture taken by the Snowman!  I think that he has a creepy smile!  They were just starting so we didn't get to see any of them done.

Trying Out the Lanterns

Elyse wants to have these lanterns for her wedding in September and we bought a package and have been trying them out on different nights to see if they will work and how much wind and you know if  . . . !  The idea would be just great but I really don't see a state park letting us light fire off in the sky!  This might be something that we do for the rehearsal but Jaedyn had  so much fun watching them.

I am so suprise how far they go and how high.  They are really a neat thing!  I will be getting more for sure!

October in Florida

The Eagles are back!
We have a park not very far from our home that we can see wildlife like this all the time
Elyse and Alec came and spent a few days with us.  After Darold left to go back to work we went on sunset sailboat cruise.  It was a beautiful evening.

Blowing theConch  Its a tradition that you do when the sunsets

This is Caption Dan!  We has really nice, and he took us out all by ourselves we had a great time.  The sailboat only can carry 6.  He is from Ohio,  He decided that this was a great trade off.

When we were coming in for the cruise a Pirate Boat Cruise was following behind us!  If you look close you can see the Captain's hat!  Kids love this!

Our Final Project This Summer

This Spring and Summer while we have been back in Illinois it seems like we have gone from one project to another.  While I like the end result it's the during that gets really old.  After we were enjoying our new remodeled master bathroom we had talked about doing our kitchen floor, well as you can see the kitchen floor turned into a new floor,  a new closet door, new dishwasher, taking the old wallpaper off (which needed to go), plastering the walls and adding a new backsplash, and a new coat of paint!  We love the new look and we are glad that it's done!

Thanks Darold for all of your hard work!
