Bread & Slip and Slide

Yesterday Heidi and I baked homemade bread. She had never watched me make it and wanted to learn so we had some time and while we were letting the dough rise we got the slip and slide out and Jaedyn had a great time.

Triple Birthdays!

We celebrated three birthdays on Sunday, my Dad who had his 88th birthday, Darold and he had his 69th, and our grandson TJ who had his all important 16th birthday.We had most of the family but some of the kids weren't able to make it because they had to work and we missed them very much. It was good to have everyone at the house and to have family and friends here. It cooled off a little bit so we were able to enjoy some nice summer weather.

Darold is ". . " well we won't tell! But you can ask him and see if he gives you a honest answer. We had cake and a few local visitors on his birthday. We are going to have a bigger party on the 25th. We are going to be putting together 3 birthdays that day. Darold and I went to a wedding for a friend of ours from church and they had bubbles, and Jaedyn was thrilled that we had some left!

Our New Home in Floria

As most of you know this winter Darold and I went down to Ft Myers on a long needed vacation for a two reasons, ~1~ to relax and just enjoy some sun and water and ~2~ we having been talking about a vacation home for a couple of years and the timing seemed to be right. So we found a condo and things have fallen into place and here are some of the pictures. Oh the relaxing part of the vacation ~~~ not so much~~~ we are hoping for that to come this winter when we get the place the way that we want it~

Grandkids

Between Darold and I we have 7 children and 8 grandchildren. One of Darolds girls is no longer with us but she will always be in our hearts. We miss her so much. We Love them all and they mean so much to us. I wanted to let you see just a few of our pictures of them in the past year.
